Theme/Lessons
The theme or lesson of this book that the characters learn is that don’t judge someone until you get to know them. Julianna probably learned this lesson first, because she only liked Bryce just for his blue eyes and his smell, and she really didn’t know him that well or not at all. She really didn’t get to know him at all until they were in the seventh grade and she found out that he was throwing away her eggs secretly for two years. After that she really started to see who he really was. She started to notice that Bryce wasn’t very nice and that he was talking about her family behind her back without her knowing about it. Bryce learned this lesson near the end the book when he saw how nice Juli really was. He at the beginning of the book thought that Juli was just annoying, but she was just been nice. He then realized that she was nice to him all those years and he was just a big jerk. After he realized this and started to like Juli it was too late, because Juli had stopped liking him and was mad at him for what he did. So he shouldn’t have judged Juli the way he did and just have got to know her, and Juli should have got to know Bryce before she started to like him, or she maybe should’ve got to know him first and then decided if she liked him or not. That is the lesson of this book.

This is a good lesson, again i'm surprised this paragraph was long enough! I think you could have found more morals, but it was written nicely and great examples! Good!(:
ReplyDeleteI liked the moral but I think there where a few more then that. You did a good job though.
